2. Booking Early Saves Money – Don’t Wait!
Disney Cruise Line offers demand-based pricing, meaning the more guests book, the higher the price. Prices can increase hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars in a matter of months after the itineraries are released. You also only need to pay the deposit (20% of the cruise fare) to lock in the cruise price.

In most cases, the deposit is refundable, and/ or the cruise is modifiable until final payment. Meaning, there is little to no risk in booking early. Or at the very least, receive a no-obligation quote before deciding! Let Dreams Unlimited do the work and learn more about pricing and availability.

3. Know the Itineraries
The Disney Destiny is sailing from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, FL, to the Bahamas, Mexico, and Disney’s two island destinations—Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay. Some itineraries include visits to both Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay, which sounds like pure heaven! These four—and five-night itineraries will be available to book for travel November—May 2025.

The inaugural sailing, Christmas, and New Year’s will likely be the most in-demand and expensive. However, it’s most important to consider personal schedules and where you want to visit most since the excitement of everything onboard will be the same for each magical itinerary.
4. You’re Going to Want to Sail on the Disney Destiny
The Disney Destiny is the first of it’s kind in SO many ways and combines both heroes and villains, classic animation with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and dining locations and stories like we’ve never seen before!

Experiences unique to the Disney Destiny include:
- Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King – a musical dining experience fit for a king included in your dining rotation. Dinner will include a themed menu and a musical retelling of The Lion King complete with elaborate costumes and beloved characters. This will be the very first time The Lion King has been featured at sea.

- Edna A La Mode Sweets – Edna from Pixar’s The Incredibles will offer sweet treats like gelato, cupcakes, and cookies. This will be Edna’s first space on a Disney cruise ship!
- Disney Hercules – Disney Cruise Line is known for its epic Broadway-style shows and and this live rendition of Hercules will be no exception! Follow the Muses as they guide us through this classic story of good versus evil with all the songs we know and love. Hercules has not yet been one of Disney’s Broadway shows, making this another completely unique experience you’ll have to see on the Destiny.
- Cask and Cannon – finally we have a Pirates of the Caribbean lounge on Disney Cruise Line! The space will be themed after the iconic Disney Parks attraction and the atmosphere will include plundered treasurers with the option to purchase brews made exclusively for this pirate oasis.
- De Vil’s – Cruella De Vil from 101 Dalmatians will have her own piano bar, complete with live music and themed beverages. Even the villains get to have fun on the Disney Destiny!
