Disney Cruise Line offers group babysitting services for children up to 3 years old through the “It’s a Small World Nursery” located onboard all Disney ships. These services continue to be available while the ship is in port, allowing parents to participate in shore excursions or onboard activities while their young children are cared for in a supervised environment.
Group babysitting requires an additional fee and is subject to availability during every day of the sailing, including days when the ship is docked in port. Availability is limited, so advance reservations are strongly recommended. Reservations can be made before your cruise begins using the “My Cruise Activities” planning tool on the Disney Cruise Line website.
Your eligibility to access advance booking varies based on your Castaway Club membership level. Booking windows are as follows:
– First-Time Guests: 75 days prior to sail date
– Silver Castaway Club Members: 90 days prior to sail date
– Gold Castaway Club Members: 105 days prior to sail date
– Platinum Castaway Club Members and Concierge Guests: 120 days prior to sail date
If you are unable to make a reservation online prior to your cruise, you may also book group babysitting once onboard by visiting the nursery directly or by calling from your stateroom phone.
Nursery operating hours can vary by ship and itinerary. This includes differences in availability on port days, sea days, and embarkation or disembarkation days. The most up-to-date nursery hours are available during the online booking process or found in your Personal Navigator—the daily schedule distributed onboard—or the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.
It is recommended that you review your itinerary and reserve space in the nursery early to ensure the necessary care is available during the specific times you may need it, particularly while docked in port.
