Disney Cruise Line has revealed De Vil’s, the adult-exclusive piano lounge onboard the Disney Destiny inspired by the iconic villain from the classic One Hundred and One Dalmatians and the 2021 live-action Cruella.
Compared to the other Wish class cruise ships in the fleet, this glamorous new venue takes the place of Nightingale’s on the Disney Wish and Scat Cat Lounge on the Disney Treasure, offering a sophisticated (yet mischievous) atmosphere for evening entertainment. And new for this ship, there’s a special character encounter!
Black, White, and Red All Over
De Vil’s exudes Hollywood Regency elegance with bold styling that mirrors Cruella’s signature look. The lounge’s interior features a dramatic palette of black, white, and crimson, accented by Art Deco-inspired lighting and lavish textures. A fiber-optic Cruella silhouette appears and vanishes within the wall behind the piano – which itself is dotted in Dalmatian spots. With one side of the venue open to the Grand Hall, guests can sip a cocktail while enjoying views of the ship’s central gathering space.
Signature Entertainment
Cruella herself makes appearances throughout each sailing, adding theatrical flair to the lounge’s entertainment lineup. Two new experiences debut with the venue:
- Cruella’s Runway – a lively fashion showcase held just outside De Vil’s in the Grand Hall, where guests can show off their personal style as Cruella provides live commentary.
- Treble-Making Moments – spontaneous appearances where Cruella “corrects” the ship’s rendition of her theme song, often enlisting guests to help craft a more suitably glamorous version.
Designer Drinks and Decadent Detail
De Vil’s offers a curated menu of signature cocktails and non-alcoholic creations, reflecting Cruella’s daring and refined persona.
Highlights include:
- The Fashionista – a tequila-based cocktail infused with freeze-dried strawberry, banana liqueur, and agave nectar.
- The Fearless Sir Galahad – a zero-proof mix featuring non-alcoholic bourbon, maple syrup, and aromatic smoke.
Combining luxurious design, sharp wit, and live piano performances, De Vil’s promises to be one of the Disney Destiny’s most stylish and sought-after evening lounges.
The Disney Destiny will officially welcome guests during its Maiden Voyage in just a few short days on November 20th; offering a fresh lineup of entertainment, dining, and character experiences at sea.
