Disney Cruise Line has shared a first look at the new stern characters being installed onto the Disney Adventure cruise ship: Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie!
The photo, shared on the official Disney Cruise Line and Disney Cruise Line Singapore Instagram accounts, captures the moment the stern character sculpture is hoisted into place at the back of the Disney Adventure.
Concept art for the characters was released in April 2025:
Once installed, the duo will appear as if they’re painting the ship’s name — with Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse positioned side by side on an anchor suspended from the back of the ship. Mickey will hold a bucket of signature yellow paint, while Minnie stands beside him, brush in hand, mid-stroke.
The Disney Adventure ship will sail three- and four-night itineraries out of Singapore beginning December 15th, 2025, offering magical days at sea.
