The Skipper Society Lounge is meticulously themed to the world-famous Jungle Cruise attraction from Disney Parks and serves as both a lounge and a flex space for trivia, live music, and other activities throughout the day. This adventurous lounge is located on the Disney Treasure on deck 3 mid-ship and is right off the Grand Hall and directly across from The Haunted Mansion Parlor.

Seating is first come, first served and is open to the rest of the deck making it easy to pop in for a pre-dinner beverage. One of the things I love most about this space is how intimate and cozy the seating area feels. The rich tones, lush carpet, and lighting from the lanterns make the Skipper Society the type of environment you want to soak in. The background music may sound familiar since it is pulled directly from the Jungle Cruise attraction queue.

There are two booths like the one pictured above. These spaces feature a lot of details, including postcards from the Skippers, familiar sights from the Jungle Cruise itself, and, of course, plenty of tongue-in-cheek puns and jokes. Be sure to sit in this area at least once during your cruise!

There are more great details behind the bar created by Dr. Albert Falls himself. Even check out the intricate beer tap for the exclusive Jungle Navigation Co. Ale (which we, of course, tried!) The Skipper Society Lounge is “Always open… except for when we’re closed.”

The menu features signature cocktails, wine, and beer plus specialty coffee and their own super delicious liege waffles, which you can order by themselves. This lounge location is also a full bar so you can order “off menu” too.

The first item we had to try was the Breakfast Old Fashioned because it also comes with a waffle! What we didn’t expect was for this unique menu item to come out as a smoked cocktail with a very cool presentation.

Old Fashioned Breakfast – Old Forester Statesman, barrel aged maple, and orange bitters served with a bourbon sugar, bacon waffle for $20.
The old fashioned was fantastic and a great spin on a classic cocktail! The barrel aged maple gave it just enough warmth and depth, plus the citrus from the orange bitters really complimented the bourbon. But let’s talk about this waffle….

Bourbon sugar, bacon waffle garnished with gummy-candy eggs.
This waffle was truly incredible! The texture was both chewy and soft and packed with maple flavor. The bacon was just heavenly – coated in both maple and spice, it was just right.
If you just want to try the waffle, you can order either an Apple Cinnamon or Original Waffle served with maple syrup or Nutella for $5.

Salted Caramel Tini – Starr Rum 7 Years, Bailey’s Salted Caramel, barrel aged maple, cream, and garnished with an apple cinnamon waffle for $12.
Also, from the sweets side of the menu, I had to try the Salted Caramel Tini to enjoy even more of the waffles! Unfortunately, this martini paled in comparison to the Breakfast Old Fashioned. It lacked any complexity and mostly tasted like watered-down Bailey’s. The waffle garnish was, of course, perfect, but I would skip this one next time!

Jungle Navigation Co. Ale – 5.1% ABV red ale with notes of caramel and nuts for $7.50.
The Jungle Navigation Co. Ale is brewed by Terrapin Beer Co. exclusively for the Skipper Society aboard the Disney Treasure. This is a fantastic ale with just enough spice and flavor from the hops. This is an easy-to-drink ale with just enough complexity!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Skipper Society Lounge and think you’ll love it, too! We so appreciate all the details of the lounges onboard the Disney Treasure and the fan-service it provides to Disney Parks fans.
