Onboard the Disney Treasure, adventure awaits guests beneath a tangle of untamed foliage at Skipper Society, a centrally located outpost that features refined nods to the iconic Jungle Cruise attraction at Disney Parks around the globe. At Skipper Society, guests can indulge in themed cocktails and light snacks in an elevated yet playful atmosphere.
If you’ve been on the Disney Wish, this Treasure venue is where The Bayou is on the Wish. Take a peek below at the incredible theming of this lounge. I love seeing all the details in these spaces!
The secluded booths in this space are possibly one of my favorites, and this one is no exception. Although I’ve never stepped foot inside Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen in the Magic Kingdom, the décor here reminds me of that space. Look at those stained-glass parrots in the hanging light fixture! How cool! Guests will find references to the famous Jungle Cruise attraction, such as postcards from travels abroad. And fun fact: the green and red tones depicted on the walls of Skipper Society are exact color matches to the Jungle Cruise attraction marquee at Disneyland.
I’m loving the comfy-looking couches that face the stage and can’t wait to learn more about the entertainment that will take place there. We do know that guests will hear an array of Disney Parks music, including a spiel from beloved Jungle Cruise attractions around the world… like the backside of water! O2H! O2H!
It appears as though we will see special beverage receptacles too. Check out this one that looks like one of the boats from the Jungle Cruise attraction! Do you think we might be able to purchase one?
On the menu will be what’s called an Old Fashioned Breakfast. While I’m not a fan of this type of drink, I’m thinking that it looks pretty cool.
This next drink is one I can get behind – it’s a Salted Caramel Tini! Mmmmm….
This last image shows a Skipper Society Waffle, which looks similar to the liege waffles available in Connections Cafe at EPCOT! I’ve never had one, but I have heard yummy things about them. The thought of enjoying a fresh one of these with a unique beverage during an at-sea day sounds divine!
