Weāve just returned from a special preview sailing of Disney Cruise Lineās newest ship, the Disney Treasure. The Treasureās maiden voyage will take place on December 21st for a 7-night Eastern Caribbean cruise, followed by an inaugural season of seven-night itineraries from Port Canaveral to the Eastern and Western Caribbean. We have tons of photos and video to share with you, exploring all the new spaces and details of this beautiful ship we easily fell in love with. This article will cover the venues found on each deck, from top to bottom, along with a few detail features along the way.
The Disney Treasure is a sister ship to the Disney Wish, as well as the upcoming Disney Destiny ā all are part of the Wish-class of DCL ships. And while the Wish-class look a lot like the Magic, Wonder, Dream, and Fantasy from the outside, theyāre pretty different on the inside. Letās take a highlights tour of the Disney Treasure, deck by deck. Thereās A LOT to uncover here! Letās start from the top deck and work our way down. X marks the spot!

Disney Treasure Deck 14
Located aft, thereās a sun deck reserved for adults just above Quiet Cove. This is also the shipās smoking area.

And all the way forward is Chip ān Daleās Pool ā a quiet wading pool with a shallow 2-foot depth.

Disney Treasure Deck 13
Quiet CoveĀ is the adult-exclusive pool and bar on the back of the ship, featuring plenty of lounge chairs, beds, and rocking chairs to relax in. Water areas include a whirlpool tucked along the side by one of the shipās stacks, an infinity pool with views out to the ocean, and a tiled seating area with shallow water along the bottom, and trickling water on seat backs.

Nearby, Cove Café aboard the Disney Treasure offers specialty coffee, tea, and alcoholic beverages for an additional cost. Just like the Wish, this café features artwork and decor themed to Moana.

Also accessible via deck 13 is the entrance for the Aqua-Mouse. This āattraction at seaā water coaster debuted on the Wish. Similar to the Dream and Fantasyās AquaDuck, here you join Mickey and Minnie on a zany animated adventure as you hop aboard a 2-person raft before ascending into a tunnel of screens with water effects and video synchronized to an original musical score, before riding through the water coaster path ahead.

Disney Treasure Deck 12
The Treasureās adult dining district is located aft, offering lovely libations and gourmet food with hints of the original animated version of Beauty & the Beast found throughout the decor and furnishings (unlike the Wish with its live-action theme). Palo Steakhouse and EnchantĆ© are the two upcharge dining locations requiring a reservation, while The Rose is an upscale bar connecting the two restaurants. Ā Offering gorgeous ocean views at dusk, this lounge is a great spot for pre- and post-dinner drinks, whether or not youāre dining at Palo or EnchantĆ©!

The RoseĀ lures you in with gorgeous works of art of favorite Beauty & the Beast characters leading to an enchanted rose on a table near the loungeās entrance.

Inspired by Cogsworth from Beastās castle, Palo Steakhouse offers premium Italian dishes along with American prime beef cuts.Ā And how could we forget the beloved chocolate soufflĆ©? Dinner and brunch (on sea days only) services are offered here.

And inspired by Lumiere, EnchantĆ© is the Treasureās most elegant dining experience, boasting a menu from 3 Michelin-starred Chef Arnaud Lallement. Superior and seasonal ingredients are sourced from around the world (including the Chefās own home garden located in Ohio) to create exceptional international dishes.Ā

Hero ZoneĀ is a two-story sports court and game area, featuring a basketball court, air hockey, and foosball tables, and on occasion, an inflatable family-friendly obstacle course themed to The Incredibles!

Finally, Vibe Teen Club is located aft, the perfect hangout for young cruisers aged 14 through 17.
Disney Treasure Deck 11
This is where the real fun in the sun happens! Just like the Wish, the Treasure offers severalĀ FamilyĀ PoolsĀ cascading and scattered along the upper decks, with one large pool in the center (Minnieās Pool), surrounded by smaller pools (Daisyās and Plutoās wading pools with waterfall features; and Donaldās and Goofyās located on Deck 12 just above the others).Ā Just below FunnelVision, youāll find Mickeyās Pool, which can be covered and used as a stage for deck parties.

Throughout the voyage, favorite Disney movies play on the giantĀ FunnelVision, so you can swim or lounge and watch, day or night!

For little ones and young families looking for water play, thereāsĀ Toy Story Splash Zone,Ā Trixieās Falls,Ā and Slide-O-Saurus Rex. Wheezieās FreeziesĀ is also nearby, serving up fresh fruit smoothies for an additional cost.

Located on deck 11 forward, Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods is the best place to grab some quality quick bites. Walk-up food counters include Mickeyās Smokestack Barbecue,Ā Donaldās Cantina,Ā Daisyās Pizza Pies,Ā Goofyās Grill (hello DCL chicken tendies!), andĀ Sweet Minnieās Ice Cream (hey unlimited soft-serve!).

And aft is where youāll find the Treasureās ābuffetā food location ā Marceline Market. This walk-up style eatery replaces the typical Cabanas buffet found on the older ships, featuring 10 food stations and a cafĆ©-style beverage bar at the center.

Inspired by global food markets, the menus here vary throughout the voyage, including seafood, comfort foods, baked items, classic American fare, vegetarian options, soups, and salads. At night, Marceline Market is converted to a table-service dinner option.

Along the outskirts of Marceline Market are Jumbeauxās Sweets and Doryās Forget-Me-Knots, a gift shop offering sunscreen, sunglasses, swimsuits and other sundries needed for your pool day, as well as select ship-specific merchandise.

Jumbeauxās Sweets is the Treasureās specialty sweet shop and ice cream parlor inspired byĀ Zootopia, decorated with colorful props and critters from the film; including a perfect photo op statue of Nick Wilde and Judy Hoops enjoying a giant ice cream, sundae. Premium gelato and ice cream with optional hand-made toppings are available here, along with themed baked goods and packaged candy. Similar to the shipās other cafĆ©s and lounges, these treats are available at an additional cost.

Disney Treasure Decks 10 ā 6
Decks 10, 9, 8 7, and 6 are filled with staterooms. However, deck 8 also features the shipās laundry facility for all guests: Fairytale Fresh Laundry. This expansive laundry area offers plenty of washer & dryer units, steam irons, and ironing boards. Even better, itās centrally located for easy access from any stateroom and softly plays Disney fairytale scores overhead. (The same themed Bambi touches carried over from the Disney Wish here.)

Additionally, deck 6 includes an upper level of the Shipside Promenade; a more quiet, tucked away area, prime for naps or reading in the sun:

There is a service dog relief area here, tucked behind the stairway leading up to deck 7.

StateroomsĀ vary in size, including interior rooms, rooms with a porthole view, verandahs, and suites. If youāve cruised Disney before, youāll be familiar with the common stateroom layout carried over from the other ships including the clever split-bathroom design. Depending on your stateroomās location, themed custom artwork featured above the bed and along the walls include Aladdin, Finding Nemo, Luca, The Lion King, Zootopia, Encanto, and more.

Disney Treasure Deck 5
Buckle up, thereās a lot here!
Shipside PromenadeĀ ā wooden loungers and shuffleboard line both port and starboard promenades. Across the DCL fleet, this is aĀ favorite place to relax, read, or just take in the salty ocean air while keeping cool in the shade. The Treasureās promenade deck offers varying levels to lounge about and play shuffleboard. Unfortunately, just like the Wish, there is no straightforward walking/running path that wraps around deck 5 like the older ships. One end is blocked by the Rainforest Room outdoor area, and the other is closed off from guest access.

Back inside, at the top of the Grand Hall on level 5 youāll find Mickeyās Mainsail: home to the most Disney Cruise Line exclusive souvenirs and gifts, including plenty of Disney Treasure-branded goods.

Sarabi is the two-story venue made for scheduled family and adult activities such as game shows, comedy acts, and more. The second-story balcony seating is accessible here on deck 5.

Tritonās LoungeĀ is located just behind Sarabi on this level, hosting a smaller setting for scheduled trivia and scavenger hunt activities.

And nearby youāll find Periscope Pub, a nautical 20k Leagues Under the Sea-themed pub, featuring craft beers on draft, wines, and cocktails. Food options are available in the evening for an additional charge. This Nautilus-inspired pub is also home for sports lovers, as theyāll show the big games on surrounding screens.

Just nearby Mickeyās Mainsail, youāll find one of two of the Grand Hallās cafĆ©s: Jade Cricket Cafe. A lightly-Mulan themed bar area offering cocktails, wine, and the same espresso and tea beverages from Cove CafĆ©, along with some specialty tea services made with Porcelain Gin from Shanghai.

Senses SpaĀ aboard the Disney Treasure features intimate relaxation rooms, menās and womenās locker rooms equipped with a steam room, private treatment rooms, spa villas for couples (or friends!), steam and aromatherapy rooms designed to help you rejuvenate and recharge. Body exfoliations, massages, facials, acupuncture, and specialized custom therapies are available here.

Connected to the Senses Spa is the Rainforest Room. Just like the Wish, the Treasureās Rainforest Room is very spacious, offering lush indoor and outdoor environments filled with waterfall showers, a dry-infrared sauna, steam room, and a frigidarium offering cryotherapy, and plenty of those beloved DCL heated tile loungers. The outdoor portion houses two whirlpool jacuzzis and various types of loungers lining the entire space. Note: the Rainforest Room is not included with reserved spa treatments; length-of-cruise passes are available for 7-night voyages at $339 per person, with limited singular-day passes available at $79 per person.

Just across the way from Senses Spa is Senses Fitness: offering state-of-the-art exercise and wellness facilities, including the main room filled with exercise equipment, weightlifting machines, and free weights, a cycle studio, and aerobics room. Complimentary instructor-led fitness classes are offered throughout voyages.

The in-between tween club EDGEĀ is also located on deck 5; a bright and colorful loft hangout for 11-13-year-olds.Ā

Plaza de Coco Restaurant Ā isĀ Disneyās first-ever Coco-themed restaurant. A theatrical dining experience with a central stage offers an optimal view for just about each table. Sit under the warm lights of Santa Cecilia as you take in 2 different shows; featuring Miguel and his familia, mariachi appearances, and wonderful performances of those songs from Coco we know and love. The menu offers cuisine inspired by Miguelās colorful world and the flavors of Mexico.

Disney Treasure Deck 4
Hei-Hei Café is the other cafĆ© just off the Grand Hall, offering pressed juices, cocktails, wine, and the same favorite espresso, coffee, and tea beverages from Cove CafĆ©.Ā These side cafĆ©s are a great place to refuel with caffeine and recharge your devices, as theyāre often quiet, and USB ports line the bar areas.

Untangled SalonĀ is a Rapunzel-themed high-end salon for adult guests, offering a variety of hair and nail services, including styling, manicures, and pedicures.

Hookās BarberyĀ is inspired by Captain Hookās private quarters aboard the Jolly Roger, offering hair styling, nail, and skin care treatments for adults. For those 21 and older, you can sip on some of the finest whiskies, bourbon, and rums during your treatment as thereās a āsecretā bar here as well!

Bibbidi Bobbidi BoutiqueĀ isĀ just a few steps away from the adult salons, and is just for the kids ages 3 to 12! Here is where your little one can get the royal treatment: hairstyling, makeup, full costume, and accessories. In addition to princess, prince, pirate, and knight costumes, kids can dress up as Captain Minnie and Captain Mickey.Ā
Wonderland and Never Land CinemasĀ are the shipās two movie theaters showing the latest Disney films. Two theaters mean even more options throughout your voyage!

Worlds of MarvelĀ is another one of the Treasureās themed entertainment dining, offering an interactive experience set against sleek decor fit for the Avengers. One of two shows here features Groot and Rocket Raccoon of the Guardians of the Galaxy for the first time aboard a DCL ship; as they honor the many Super Heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe who keep the world safe. This dinner show is filled with favorite retro tracks from the films, sweet moments between Rocket and Groot, and cuisine inspired by the MCU.

Near the Grand Hall on deck 4, youāll find Guest Services and the Port Adventures booking desks.

Disney Treasure Deck 3
What is usually called the atrium on Disneyās previous ships, is known as theĀ Grand HallĀ on the Wish-class.Ā The Grand Hall aboard the Disney Treasure is referred to as Disneyās palace of the seas, acting as an enchanted gateway to everything that awaits onboard.Ā The space includes the Grand Hall Stage which hosts theatrical surprises throughout each day and is a natural character meet & greet spot. The balcony above hosts character sightings on embarkation day and other special moments.

The entire Grand Hall is themed to Aladdin, filled with beautiful tiled mosaic artwork and accents, a vibrant carpet design emulating a cascading fountain from decks 5 to 3, a Moroccan-inspired chandelier, warm lights and rich jewel tones ā all with the Genieās lamp and Aladdin & Jasmine statue as the focal points. The entire space feels royal and elegant, similar to the Wish, yet warm and familiar like the Dream and Fantasy.

We were onboard for only a few minutes before we realized we were really falling in love with this ship⦠And that was all before visiting the Haunted Mansion Parlorā¦
1923Ā is one of the regular dining venues on board, and isĀ split into two different dining areas (named for Walt and Roy), offering a more intimate setting rather than one large dining room.Ā Tables are surrounded by over 800 pieces of artwork and artifacts from films such as Aladdin, Luca, Up, The Lion King, The Jungle Book, Finding Nemo, Brother Bear, Pocahontas, Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, The Rescuers, and more. Named after the year the Walt Disney Co. was founded, 1923 serves up classic California dishes with Asian, European, and South American flavors. Table service breakfast and lunch is also served here.

An upscale Shopping DistrictĀ is located on deck 3, which runs between the Grand Hall and the Walt Disney Theatre. Shopping venues line each side of the promenade, offering exclusive Disney Cruise Line merchandise and luxury gifts such as diamond jewelry, watches, and accessories. Here is where youāll find Pandora Jewelry, Disney x Dooney & Bourke bags, Artist Spotlight collections, and additional exclusive themed souvenirs from Haunted Mansion Parlor and Periscope Pub.
Skipper Society ā the first Jungle Cruise-themed anything on a Disney ship ā sits between the two sides of the Shopping District. A stage hosts musical performances, and themed cocktails, specialty coffees, and leige waffles are all available for an additional charge.Ā

Haunted Mansion Parlor is tucked away just next to Skipper Society. The first ever Haunted Mansion-themed lounge, and hopefully not the last. This incredibly themed bar and lounge is filled Haunted Mansion imagery, illusions, lore, sounds, characters, textiles, music, Easter eggs⦠you name it! For Haunted Mansion fiends, this lounge is worth the cruise alone. The menu offers specialty cocktails and mocktails, exclusive souvenir glasses, craft beers and wine ā but really, itās all about the immersive theming here. The entire space is covered in deadly details.

Scat Cat Lounge is the TreasureāsĀ piano bar with inspired touches from the Aristocats, including groovy Parisian decor and specialty alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

TheĀ three-storyĀ Walt Disney TheaterĀ featuring two balconies is home to the Treasureās broadway-style productions (The Tale of Moana, Beauty & the Beast, and Disney Seas the Adventure) and evening variety shows.

Disney Treasure Deck 2
Designed for children ages 3 to 12, the Treasureās Oceaneer Club has four key areas ā Star Wars: Cargo Bay, Marvel Super Hero Academy, Walt Disney Imagineering, and Fairytale Hall.Ā

Plus, thereās a twisting slide from the Grand Hall on deck 3 for kids toĀ land securely into the Oceaneer Club check-in area on deck 2. (Psst⦠adults can enjoy this fun feature during open house hours!)

Mickey & Minnieās Captains DeckĀ ā for the younger sailors of the Oceaneer Club, this nautical playground is filled with physical and sensory-style games and activities. Mickey and Minnie themselves occasionally stop by for a scheduled performance. Additionally, the space is open at select times for young family group play.

āitās a small worldā nurseryĀ offers hourly babysitting and childcare services for infants and toddlers, with the most adorable itās a small world theming incorporating Disney characters.Ā

Disney Treasure Deck 1
Health ServicesĀ provides non-emergency health care. Complimentary seasickness medication is also available here.

Finally, the Tender LobbyĀ is also on deck 1: this is where you exit and re-enter the ship on port days.

Alright, Iāve already laid out the entire ship for you ā what are you waiting for?! Between that beautiful Grand Hall, the Haunted Mansion Parlor, Plaza de Coco, the Haunted Mansion Parlor, The Tale of Moana stage show, the Haunted Mansion Parlor⦠and the Haunted Mansion Parlor, I honestly cannot wait to be back on the Disney Treasure.
