Several weeks back, the Meyer Werft Shipyard buzzed with activity as the Disney Treasure took to the water for the very first time. The Ems River’s water surged into the building dock, lifting the vessel’s hull from the chamber floor. With precision, the shipyard team maneuvered the Disney Treasure to its next construction phase location.

The Disney Treasure needed to be moved because the team needed space for the Disney Destiny, the sister ship to the Disney Wish and the Disney Treasure! This is a big moment for everyone at Disney Cruise Line and Walt Disney Imagineering, showing progress on the Disney Treasure and celebrating the fleet’s growth. The Disney Treasure and the Disney Destiny will soon be next to each other in the shipyard, marking a new era of growth for Disney Cruise Line.
