Disney Cruise Line has announced a major schedule change for its newest ship, the Disney Adventure. Originally set to debut on December 15, 2025, the ship’s maiden voyage from Singapore has now been delayed until March 10, 2026.
The delay affects all sailings scheduled between December 15, 2025, and March 12, 2026. Guests booked on those voyages received notifications via email on Wednesday evening about the change. According to Disney Cruise Line, the decision was made to ensure that the Disney Adventure is fully ready to deliver the best possible experience when it enters service.
Guests who were booked on the original December 15 maiden voyage are being automatically rebooked onto the new maiden voyage departing March 12, 2026. As an added gesture, those guests will receive 50% off the new sailing. For those who prefer not to travel on the new date, Disney Cruise Line is offering a full refund plus 50% off a future cruise.
Guests with reservations on other impacted sailings scheduled between December 15 and March 12 will receive a full refund and a 50% discount on a future cruise as well. This applies to all itineraries aboard the Disney Adventure that fall within the delay window.
The Disney Adventure is Disney Cruise Line’s first ship designed specifically for the Asian market and will homeport in Singapore under a multi-year agreement. The ship promises to bring Disney storytelling and entertainment to a new audience with unique dining, entertainment, and stateroom offerings tailored for families in the region.
While the delay may disappoint guests eager to be among the first to experience Disney’s newest ship, the rebooking incentives and future cruise credit offer a way to keep those plans alive.
Disney Cruise Line has not announced whether additional changes will be made to the Disney Adventure’s future sailings beyond March 2026.
