Disembarkation day on a Disney cruise can feel bittersweet, but knowing what to expect makes the farewell much smoother. The night before you leave the ship, pack your luggage, attach the provided tags, and set your bags outside your stateroom by 10:30 PM. Remember to keep essentials, like your passport, medication, valuables, and a change of clothes, with you in your carry-on bag for easy access the next morning.

Here’s a quick list:

  • Prepare the Night Before: Pack your luggage, attach the provided tags, and leave your bags outside your room by 10:30 PM. Keep essentials and important documents with you.
  • Breakfast Options: Choose between scheduled dining at your assigned restaurant or casual dining at Cabanas or Marceline Market.
  • Stateroom Departure: Guests typically must leave staterooms by 8:00 AM on disembarkation day.
  • Carry-on Essentials: Keep passports, identification, valuables, medications, and a change of clothes in your carry-on bag.
  • Customs Process: All guests must clear customs upon departure from the ship; have your documentation ready and follow the crew’s instructions.
  • Port Transportation: Arrange transportation to your destination in advance (shuttles, taxis, private cars, or rideshare services).
  • Settling Your Account: Ensure your onboard charges are settled; Disney Cruise Line automatically charges your linked card.
  • Lost and Found: Please check your stateroom carefully for personal items before leaving, as recovering lost items afterward can be challenging.

On your final morning aboard, enjoy one last breakfast either in your assigned dining room or at a casual spot like Cabanas or Marceline Market. Be mindful that guests typically need to vacate their staterooms by around 8:00 AM, so plan your morning accordingly. As you leave, double-check every corner of your room to ensure you haven’t left anything behind. Finally, you’ll clear customs at the port, so keep your identification and documentation handy to make the process as stress-free as possible.

Disembarkation doesn’t have to be daunting. With a bit of preparation, your journey home will be seamless, leaving you free to savor the wonderful memories you’ve made at sea.
