If you’ve sailed with Disney Cruise Line more than once, you probably have a favorite coffee spot onboard.
Maybe it’s Cove Café on the Dream and Fantasy. Maybe it’s Café Merida on the Disney Wish. Maybe it’s the sleek, modern coffee bars on the newer ships. No matter the ship, one thing stays consistent: those specialty coffees add up quickly.

But here’s a little secret that many cruisers don’t realize.

Disney Cruise Line’s specialty coffee bars offer punch cards.
That’s right. If you’re ordering lattes, cappuccinos, cold brews, or specialty espresso drinks throughout your sailing, make sure you ask the barista for a punch card. After purchasing a set number of qualifying drinks, you’ll earn one free.
It’s simple. Buy the drinks. Get the card stamped. Enjoy a free one after your 5th stamp.

And yes, it works.
I’ve personally used them, and it’s such a small but satisfying win. Especially on longer sailings when that morning latte becomes part of your routine. On a 7-night cruise, those stamps add up fast.

How It Works
The punch cards typically apply to specialty espresso-based beverages. Standard drip coffee from the beverage stations isn’t typically included, and alcoholic coffee drinks may not qualify either. It’s best to confirm with the crew member at the bar when you order your first drink.
The key is asking for the card. They don’t always hand one out automatically. It was my 3rd or 4th cruise before I realized that they existed.

You’ll want to keep it in a safe place. I’ve tucked mine in my lanyard sleeve alongside my Key to the World card during the cruise, so it’s always handy. When I’m not cruising, it lives in my wallet so I don’t forget to bring it along.
Where to Use It
You’ll find participating coffee bars across the fleet:

Each location has its own vibe, from quiet adult-only lounges to lively atrium cafés, but the punch card concept is consistent.
Is It a Huge Savings?
No. It’s not life-changing.
But it’s one of those little cruise hacks that feels good. Disney Cruise Line isn’t known for traditional loyalty discounts onboard, so this is a rare and fun perk for repeat coffee drinkers.
And if you’re anything like me, that morning latte overlooking the ocean just tastes better when it’s free.
