Disney Cruise Line is about to get the Disney+ spotlight, and this one’s going longer than the features we’re used to.

Disney just announced that Behind the Attraction is coming back for a third season with a two-episode special focused entirely on Disney Cruise Line. Both episodes are set to premiere on June 24 on Disney+, and if you’ve ever wondered how these cruise ships came together in the first place, this is going to be a fun way to discover it all.

According to Disney, the special will cover everything from the early days of the cruise line to what’s happening now with the newest ships, including the Disney Destiny. That’s a pretty wide range, which hopefully means we’re getting more than just surface-level highlights.

This time around, the focus on Disney Cruise Line opens the door to many stories that don’t get talked about as often. The ships themselves are full of design choices that most guests never think about, from how spaces flow to how entertainment is built around different age groups. Then you’ve got the evolution of the fleet, which has changed so much from the original ships to the newest ships we see now.

And with Disney Destiny specifically being mentioned, there’s a good chance we’ll get a closer look at how Disney is approaching its upcoming ships.

For longtime cruise fans, this might be one of the more interesting entries in the series. And for anyone who’s been on the fence about trying a Disney Cruise, it might give a better sense of what actually goes into the experience.

Either way, June 24 is the date to keep in mind.
