The “float up” process began by filling the building dock with Ems River water and lifting the Disney Destiny from the chamber floor. The ship was then moved to a new position in the hall, where the team will start testing various onboard systems, including the main engines.

In the coming months, the shipyard team will continue to focus on building out the legendary interior spaces coming to the Disney Destiny.

The new ship will sail its Maiden Voyage on November 20, 2025. After the Maiden Voyage, the ship will sail 4- and 5-night itineraries from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean.
