It’s such an exciting time with the brand-new Disney Destiny cruise ship arriving Sunday night in Port Canaveral, and we’ve got more fun to share today! The only image we’ve seen so far of the Grand Hall aboard the Disney Destiny was the artist rendering that Disney Cruise Line shared with us all so long ago. We’ve all wondered what the space would look like in real life, and now we have a tiny glimpse of it, shared on Josh D’Amaro’s Instagram.

The Grand Hall, the heart of every Disney Wish Class cruise ship, continues the tradition of storytelling through design. Inspired by the age-old battle between heroes and villains, the Disney Destiny’s version blends elegance and adventure with a sweeping staircase and vibrant color palettes. The Black Panther statue stands tall along with intricate details in the ship’s décor, including motifs that pay tribute to classic Disney tales of courage and transformation. The hall’s design embodies the ship’s theme of discovering one’s destiny – making it both a gathering space and a visual centerpiece.

Alongside the Grand Hall reveal, Disney also shared the first look at the crew member costumes for Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King, a dining experience inspired by the hit Disney animated film. The photos reveal rich earth tones, patterned fabrics, and regal details that capture the essence of the African savanna and its beloved characters. The costumes were designed to complement the show’s vibrant energy, reflecting both the pride and playfulness of Simba’s world. We can hardly wait to experience this show!
Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King promises to bring guests into the story through music, live performances, and a menu inspired by global flavors. The immersive dinner show joins 1923 and Worlds of Marvel, the two additional rotational restaurants aboard the Destiny, making every night at sea a new adventure.
With each new reveal, anticipation continues to build for Disney Cruise Line’s next grand voyage!
