The Disney Fantasy cruise ship has an excellent collection of lounges, bars, and nightclubs in its Europa Adult District on Deck 4, five of them, to be exact. You’ll find The Tube, La Piazza, Ooh La La, Skyline, and O’Gills Pub in Europa. Then there’s Meridian, an adult-exclusive indoor and outdoor lounge located between Palo and Remy on Deck 12.
On a recent sailing aboard the Disney Fantasy, I spent a decent amount of time in O’Gills Pub as our Castaway Cay day was canceled due to high winds. I learned something new that I think you all should know about: a Pub Grub menu is available with some great dishes you don’t want to sleep on – it’s the only lounge on the Fantasy that offers additional food items.

There is A Lot of food available on a Disney ship, and occasionally, you’re in the mood for something different than what’s being offered in the main dining rooms or even on the room service menu. Whether it’s a snack between meals or you count it as lunch or dinner, don’t miss this menu. While these dishes are not included in your cruise fare, I think they are worthy of a try next time you’re in O’Gills. Take a look and keep reading for my review of the Beef Burger Sliders!

Everything on the menu sounded so good, and it was lunchtime, after all. I decided to go with the Beef Burger Sliders and a Coca-Cola.

The sliders were the perfect size and definitely shareable if you were so inclined. I’ve never had crisp shallots before, and they added a uniquely mild onion flavor to the burgers.

The slaw on the burgers was crunchy, delicious, and fresh – I wasn’t missing fresh tomatoes or lettuce, and honestly, I preferred the slaw. I’m going give this a try at home next time we have burgers on the grill!

The Bourbon mayo was there, but it didn’t have a real strong Bourbon taste, which was probably a good thing for me.
I would definitely order these again, although, with so many other fabulous items on the menu, I might need to try some of them first. Have you tried anything from this menu?
