As the Disney Treasure journeys across the Atlantic Ocean this week, Disney’s team tested out seven new arrangements of familiar melodies in preparation for its inaugural season. Several of the new ship horn sounds were chosen to complement and represent the beloved stories found onboard the Disney Treasure, while others capture the ship’s motif of adventure.
The seven new arrangements include the Disney Parks’ classic, “Grim Grinning Ghosts,” a nod to the Haunted Mansion Parlor; “Remember Me” from “Coco,” which honors the all-new theatrical dining restaurant, Plaza de Coco; and “A Whole New World” from “Aladdin,” relating to the ship’s Grand Hall. A special holiday composition has also been created for for this year’s holiday season.
Any guesses on what the unannounced three new ship horn arrangements are? (I’m hoping for something from Peter Pan to go along with the Pan & Hook stern!)
The Disney Treasure will set sail on its maiden voyage in a few short weeks on December 21st, 2024.
