Disney’s newest cruise ship, the Disney Treasure, is currently sailing out of Port Canaveral for 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean voyages. One of the exciting new venues this ship offers is a rotational dining room themed to the hit Disney / Pixar film Coco, offering all-new Mexican fusion menus AND entertainment. Talk about dinner and a show! We couldn’t wait to check it out.

Plaza de Coco is part of the Disney Treasureās rotational dining. If you sail one of the Treasure’s 7-night voyages, youāll be dining here two nights. The first night is a gathering of family starring the Riveras, and the second night celebrates Dia de Los Muertos after Miguel is reunited with his great-grandparents. Each show is filled with beautiful live music from both the film and Mexican traditions, featuring string instruments (no loud Mariachi horns here!), colorfully-dressed dancers, and a few surprises!

Once you step inside Plaza de Coco, youāve stepped into the world of Coco and the town of Saint Cecelia. Disney spent five years working on this restaurant and its concept, and it shows. You are immediately immersed as you enter the hallway to the restaurant with so many details packed in; including letters from Hector to Coco, and the elaborate ofrenda straight from the film.

The entire restaurant feels warm and inviting, and feels just like an outdoor plaza fit for a celebration. Outdoor patio lights hang around the room, which fit the theme of dining in the fresh air of Saint Cecelia, and help tell the story with various color changes throughout the show.

The seating is family style with tables and chairs situated in close rows, as this is a big family-oriented setting.

Hector Riveraās guitar sits on the stage at the center of the dining area – this is the magical guitar that Miguel uses to reunite with his ancestors!

Like any Disney Cruise Line dining room, even the plates fit the theme!

Each table includes a few tissue-paper marigolds to unfold as you await your first course.

For bread service, fresh chips and salsa are served:

The menu offers cuisine inspired by Miguelās colorful world and the flavors of Mexico. On our preview cruise, we were able to try out the second night’s menu from the Dia de Los Muertos celebration.

An exclusive souvenir glowing sugar skull sipper cup is available for purchase here too:

The first live performance starts shortly after your appetizers arrive – be sure to arrive early for your assigned dinner time you don’t miss anything!

Between the new menu offerings, extraordinary show and immersive theming, you don’t want to miss this rotational dining option. For your Treasure cruise, make sure you schedule your Palo dinner on a non-Plaza de Coco night!
