When sailing on the Disney Destiny, your stateroom choice isn’t only about deck location, it also determines which Disney (or Pixar) story will be featured in your room. Each deck features a specific set of film inspirations, mostly featured in the massive artwork just above the bed, from Hercules and Fantasia to Big Hero 6 and more!
Whenever I think of booking a Wish-class cruise, one of my first thoughts is, “Which artwork will I get to enjoy for those [insert number here] nights above my bed?” It’s a focal design point of the room, and if you have a preferred feature film from the list, it may affect how you choose your stateroom.
Thanks to this handy stateroom guide that’s been floating around online, here’s a breakdown to help you plan for which stateroom art you’ll find on each deck of the Destiny.
Hercules & Mulan
Decks 2, 6, and 7 – From zero to hero or for taking a look into your reflection, these decks feature rooms inspired by Hercules and Mulan — from Greek mythology to ancient China.

In the Mulan rooms, the main artwork depicts Mulan and Li Shang celebrating their honor near the gates of the Emperor’s palace, surrounded by cherry blossoms. Meanwhile, the Hercules rooms feature a panorama of Mount Olympus and the Gates of the Gods, with Hercules soaring high on Pegasus as he finally takes his place among the immortal heroes.

Brave & Raya and the Last Dragon
Decks 8 and 9 – Love the heroines of Brave or Raya? You’ve met your match. These staterooms pull inspiration from the sprawling landscapes, symbols, and courageous characters of each film.

In the Brave rooms, the custom artwork features Princess Merida fiercely riding her trusted horse, Angus, through the ancient forests of the Scottish Highlands with the castle of DunBroch visible in the distance. The Raya and the Last Dragon rooms artwork represents the world of Kumandra depicting Raya, Sisu, and Tuk Tuk in a shimmering, purple-and-blue landscape.

The Incredibles & Big Hero 6
Decks 10 and 11 – These decks lean into the superhero side of Disney and Pixar.

In The Incredibles rooms, the artwork captures the Parr family united in action, safe within one of Violet’s force fields, set against a retro-futuristic backdrop. Frozone and Syndrome also make an appearance. The Big Hero 6 rooms feature the team in their high-tech gear, including Baymax soaring overhead, all set against a stylized vision of San Fransokyo and its Torii gates.

Fantasia
Decks 12 and 13 (Concierge) – Concierge staterooms exclusively feature Fantasia, with artwork including Sorcerer Mickey flanked by contrasting imagery from Night on Bald Mountain and The Rite of Spring from the film.

Royal Suite Themes
Hercules Hero Suites
Two Hero Suites are inspired by Hercules, featuring upscale design elements tied to the film’s color story, with artworks featuring Greek mythology, iconography and characters.

The Incredibles Incredisuites
Two more suites within Concierge are each themed after The Incredibles, featuring upscale mid-century modern touches throughout sleek furnishings.

Iron Man Tower Suite
The Destiny’s signature top-tier two-story suite, is a Marvel-inspired penthouse themed to Iron Man, with Stark-influenced tech-forward design cues and Marvel references throughout.
