Disney Cruise Line has announced that its “Magic Meets the Seas” float will once again appear in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, bringing a brand-new performance to millions of viewers watching in person and on television. The float will take center stage during the 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 27, 2025, celebrating the launch of the cruise line’s newest ship, the Disney Destiny.
This year’s performance will feature Captain Mickey Mouse, Captain Minnie Mouse, and several familiar Disney friends. The show will introduce an all-new signature anthem titled This Is Your Destiny, written specifically for the Disney Destiny’s Heroes and Villains theme. In a fun twist, the performance will shift when Cruella de Vil, Maleficent, and Dr. Facilier step in to lead a mischievous, choreographed takeover. Their inclusion reflects the playful villain-inspired experiences that guests will find onboard the Disney Destiny.

The Disney Destiny will spotlight both beloved heroes and iconic villains throughout its entertainment and dining spaces. Guests will be able to encounter villains in new ways, such as in a Cruella de Vil-themed lounge and through interactive storytelling moments with Dr. Facilier in the ship’s Grand Hall. The ship will also feature Disney Hercules, a new Broadway-style stage production, an Incredibles-themed sweet shop, and Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King, a dinner experience inspired by The Lion King that will include live musical performances.

The “Magic Meets the Seas” float is easy to spot thanks to its design, which incorporates the bows of eight Disney Cruise Line ships. Its appearance symbolizes the cruise line’s continued expansion, with the fleet expected to grow to 13 ships by 2031.
Fans don’t have to wait for the parade to hear the new song. This Is Your Destiny is already available to stream on Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music, and can also be used in Instagram posts and stories through the platform’s music library.
Viewers can tune in on Thanksgiving morning to watch the celebration unfold live, as Disney Cruise Line brings a bit of ocean magic – and a dash of villainous fun – to New York City.
