One of my favorite details at Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point since I set foot there has been the colorful character photo backdrops scattered throughout the shopping area. They perfectly capture the vibrant Junkanoo-inspired style that makes this destination feel so different from anywhere else Disney Cruise Line sails. Every time I see them, I stop for another picture – of each one, yes. I’m obsessed with how perfect they are!
Now, Disney Cruise Line has found a way for guests to bring that artwork home in a form other than photos. A brand-new collection of display sculptures inspired by those iconic backdrops has just been revealed, and I honestly think they’re some of the best island souvenirs Disney has created yet.
Each sculpture recreates one of the character-inspired photo locations guests can pose with during their day at Lookout Cay.
