1923 is one of the three rotational dining locations aboard the Disney Treasure. The Disney Treasure is the sixth and newest of the Disney Cruise Line (DCL) fleet sailing from Port Canaveral, FL on 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries.
Guests will have the opportunity to dine at 1923 at least twice during their 7-night sailing with a different menu each visit. 1923 is also open during select times for breakfast and lunch with a varied menu – all of this information is accessible in the DCL Navigator app once onboard.

1923 is located midship on Deck 3, right off the Grand Hall and is considered to be the signature rotational dining location on both the Disney Wish and Treasure. The theme is Disney Animation with the name 1923 paying homage to the year the Walt Disney Animation Studio was founded in Burbank, CA. The décor features rich wood tones, warm golds, and original art and other vignettes from Disney and Pixar animated films. To match the Disney Treasure’s spirit of adventure, 1923 features both new and classing films like Aladdin, Up, Pocahontas, and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.

There are two sides to the restaurant – the Walt Disney dining room (on the right) and the Roy Disney dining room (on the left). The DCL Navigator app will show you which side and table number you are seated at for dinner. The menus are identical and so is the overall décor. The only difference is the featured movie art on display.

The menu is largely inspired by ingredients and flavors from California; home of the Walt Disney Animation Studios.
On our sailing, we were able to try the second night menu or the “Captain’s Gala.” If you know anything about the captain’s night or formal night on a Disney Cruise, you know it always includes an option for a lobster entrée which you can see on the menu below. While we didn’t try everything, we did try the majority of the menu and have pictures and descriptions below.

Our biggest tip for dining at 1923 is to enjoy breakfast or lunch in the restaurant at least once! These meal services are much quieter than dinner and allow the opportunity to look at all the details in the display cases, like this very cute Winnie the Pooh plush.
