Disney Cruise Line has released a new offer for Southern California residents that could make sailing out of San Diego even more appealing. Eligible guests can save up to 30% on voyage fares for select sailings and stateroom categories departing from the Southern California port.
The limited-time offer applies to select cruises departing from San Diego, giving residents a chance to experience a Disney cruise at a significantly reduced price.
To qualify for the discount, at least one adult in each stateroom must provide valid proof of residency in an eligible Southern California ZIP code between 90000 and 93599. Proof of residency will be required at check-in before boarding the ship.
There are a few important details guests should keep in mind when considering this offer. Disney Cruise Line notes that availability is limited to just 50 staterooms per sailing, so the discounted inventory may sell out quickly once bookings begin. The savings apply only to the voyage fare itself, meaning taxes, fees, and port expenses are not included in the discount.

The offer can be applied to both new and existing reservations, but it cannot be combined with other Disney Cruise Line promotions or discounts. It can, however, be combined with the exclusive shipboard credit of up to $1,000 from Dreams Unlimited Travel!
When it comes time to board the ship, guests taking advantage of the promotion will need to present acceptable documentation verifying their residency. A California driver’s license or California identification card will meet the requirement. If you don’t have either of those, Disney Cruise Line will also accept other documentation showing the guest’s name and qualifying address, such as a recent utility bill, insurance statement, automobile registration, lease agreement, or official mail from a financial institution or government agency dated within the last two months. A valid government-issued photo ID must accompany those documents.

If valid proof of residency is not presented at check-in, Disney Cruise Line states that the non-discounted prevailing cruise rate will be charged before sailing. Guests who do not pay the adjusted balance could have their reservations cancelled with applicable fees.
Families traveling with children may also benefit from special children’s rates for guests ages 3 to 12 when sharing a stateroom with two adults.
With limited availability and strong demand for West Coast Disney sailings, Southern California residents who are interested in this offer may want to start planning sooner rather than later.
