We’re keeping an eye on a DCL rumor that is swirling around social media, and, while it’s still just a rumor, we wanted to be sure to relay the details to you just in case it comes to fruition.
A few posts on Twitter today brought attention to the rumor that the Disney Magic would begin sailing out of Dover, England this summer for 2, 3, and 4-night cruises. Word is that the sailings would only be open to residents of the United Kingdom, and would only feature days and nights at sea without stopping at ports during the voyages.
Disney Cruise Line has utilized the Port of Dover in the past, and has scheduled departures slated from the port both later this summer and next summer.
At this point, almost all of the social media posts regarding the rumor have been removed. The post below from @theworldofcruiseships is one of the few posts addressing the Disney Magic to remain.
As always, when and if word is confirmed regarding this rumor, we’ll be sure to let you know.
