Disney Cruise Line is rolling out a wave of new and updated entertainment this summer, and it’s clear the focus is on giving families even more to do together from the moment they step onboard.
Across the fleet, guests can expect a mix of Broadway-style performances, high-energy deck parties, and interactive experiences that lean into what Disney does best. It’s not just about watching a show. It’s about being part of it.
Let’s dig into it!
Frozen Takes Over Alaska Sailings
On select Alaska itineraries aboard the Disney Wonder and Disney Magic, guests can find an entire day built around Frozen. At the center is For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, a live deck show where guests can join Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff for a full-on sing-along experience.

It’s designed to feel big and interactive, with lyrics on screen and plenty of encouragement actually to sing along rather than just watch.
That show is just the start. Themed activities carry throughout the day, including a family scavenger hunt, an atrium dance party, and even a dining experience inspired by the film.
Broadway Talent Heads to Sea
If you’re someone who loves live theater, you’ll be thrilled to learn that Disney Cruise Line is also introducing its Broadway Star Series on select sailings. This new series brings professional Broadway and West End performers onboard for live shows and behind-the-scenes storytelling sessions.
It’s a different kind of entertainment offering, and one that adds something new for guests who want more than the traditional cruise lineup.
Deck Parties and New Onboard Experiences
Deck entertainment is also getting a boost this summer.

The “Let’s Set Sail” sailaway show continues expanding across the fleet, setting the tone at the start of each cruise with music, characters, and a lot of energy.
Meanwhile, Mickey’s Color Spin Dance Party is reaching more sailings, giving families another chance to jump in and dance along with Disney characters in a more interactive setting.

And later this year, select cruises will debut a refreshed pirate night experience, Mickey & Minnie’s Pirates in the Caribbean, featuring updated entertainment and new interactive elements. Guests can also look forward to the newly updated Match Your Matey that welcomes friends and groups beyond couples for a playful twist to pirate nights at sea.

A Summer Built Around Shared Moments
With these updates, Disney Cruise Line is clearly bringing more moments that will pull families into the experience instead of keeping them on the sidelines.
If Alaska has been on your list, this summer might be the time to go. And if not, these entertainment additions are rolling out across multiple ships and itineraries.
