Last week, we learned that DisneyBand+, with similar technology as MagicBand+, would be making its way to Disney Cruise Line ships.
Guests will be able to unlock their stateroom door or charge purchases to the payment card on their stateroom folio, and much more.
While we don’t yet have an official launch date, DCL has already begun testing the DisneyBand+ on the current sailing aboard the Disney Wish.
Approximately 100 passengers onboard the ship were each given a test DisneyBand+ and a brochure explaining how the DisneyBand+ works on the ship, along with frequently asked questions.
