If you are planning to book a Disney Cruise Line vacation or manage an upcoming sailing this week, you’ll want to plan ahead.
Disney Cruise Line has announced an upcoming maintenance period for its reservation system, scheduled to begin at 4:00 a.m. EDT on Thursday, July 9, 2026, and continue through 4:00 a.m. EDT on Friday, July 10, 2026. During this 24-hour window, guests and travel agents will be unable to access several online services or receive booking assistance through Disney Cruise Line’s Contact Center.
According to Disney Cruise Line, guests will not be able to make new cruise reservations or view and manage existing bookings while the maintenance is underway. The outage will also temporarily affect several important planning tools, including Online Check-In, Cruise Activity reservations, and Port Adventure bookings.
For guests with cruises approaching, this means any onboard planning that normally takes place through the Disney Cruise Line website or app will need to wait until the system returns to service on Friday morning.
Disney is also providing a bit of extra flexibility for guests who have payments due during the outage. Anyone with a deposit or final payment scheduled between July 9 and July 10 will have until Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 10:00 p.m. EDT to submit their payment without penalty.
While planned maintenance like this is fairly routine, it’s a good reminder to complete any time-sensitive tasks before the system goes offline. If your booking window for Port Adventures or onboard activities is approaching, or you’ve been meaning to complete Online Check-In, you’ll want to take care of those items either before the maintenance begins or after service is restored.
Disney Cruise Line says they look forward to welcoming guests back once the reservation system is fully operational on Friday, July 10, allowing everyone to continue planning their upcoming cruise vacations.
