Disney Cruise Line Ends Vacation Protection Option for Non-US Guests

Jackie Gailey

As part of a policy update, the Vacation Protection Plan will no longer be available to Disney Cruise Line guests with a country of origin outside the United States. Effective immediately, guests must meet all of the following criteria to qualify for Vacation Protection Plan:

  • The booking origin, or travel agency, is based in either the United States or Canada
  • The guest pays for the reservation in US dollars
  • The individual guest has a United States address

If a guest with a country of origin outside the United States has previously booked a Vacation Protection Plan, it will be honored on the existing reservation. However, if they choose to remove it for any reason, it cannot be re-added once removed.
