UPDATE 9/28/22: The captain of the Disney Wish just informed guests that they are now planning to return to Port Canaveral on Sunday, October 1st. This plan will depend on whether or not the Coast Guard reopens the port and also on when a terminal becomes available for the ship to dock.

Additionally, the captain said that we will try to visit Castaway Cay again on Saturday, but there are obviously no guarantees that they’ll be able to dock.

Guests who are currently sailing on the Disney Wish 4-night sailing that was originally scheduled 9/26-9/30/2022 learned Tuesday evening that the ship will not arrive back in Port Canaveral until Saturday or Sunday as opposed to Friday, and that they should revise their travel arrangements.

The captain explained that the cruise extension is due to incoming bad weather conditions that are expected from Hurricane Ian.

In addition, the 3-night cruise on the Disney Wish from 9/30-10/3 has been cancelled.
