I didn’t need any convincing on these. The second I saw them, I was ALL in.
Disney Cruise Line has introduced a new set of collectible mini funnel pieces, each one themed to a different ship in the fleet. They’re bright, detailed, and instantly recognizable, with little character touches that match each ship’s personality. Stack them together, line them up on a shelf, whatever your style is.
They’re just FUN!
To me, they feel like the most perfect souvenir. If you’ve sailed on multiple ships, the idea of collecting a tiny version of each funnel is kind of genius. It’s the type of item that actually means something once you’ve built up a little history with the fleet. They’re similar to the little statues that match the character in the atrium/grand hall of each ship. But with this one, there’s a catch that, if I’m being honest, I’m not too excited about.

These are being sold in mystery packs. One of eight. No picking your ship. No guarantees. That’s where this gets a little frustrating, at least for me.
If you’re a casual buyer, maybe it doesn’t matter. But if you’re someone who cruises with Disney regularly, chances are you want the ships you’ve actually been on. I know I do. I’d love to grab the ones that match my own sailings and slowly build that collection over time.
Instead, you’re rolling the dice.
And here’s where it gets even more specific. I’ve never sailed on the Disney Magic or the Disney Treasure. I plan to eventually, but I’m not there yet. So if I opened a box and got one of those? I’d be a little disappointed. Not because they’re not cute. They absolutely are. But because they don’t connect to my own experiences just yet.
That’s the tradeoff with mystery merch. It creates excitement, sure, but it also makes collecting harder than it needs to be.
The good news is these are undeniably well done. The designs are sharp, the colors pop, and they’re the kind of item that Disney Cruise fans will immediately understand and appreciate. If Disney ever decides to sell them individually, they’d be an instant buy for a lot of people.
Until then, it really comes down to how much you like the gamble.
Because make no mistake, these are adorable. Just be ready to play the odds.
If you have seen these for sale on any of the Disney ships, please send me a message with the price, as that would likely play a big factor in whether or not folks would be willing to take their chances. Anyone else want to book their next cruise so they can get their hands on these? No? Just me?
