We’ve all been there. You probably starting packing for your Disney Cruise months in advance… or if you’re like me, perhaps even overpacked. After arriving to your stateroom on embarkation day, you realize you forgot that one small [important] thing. A toothbrush (I’m raising my hand over here). Motion-sickness medicine for those days at sea. Baby’s pacifier. Or, (gasp) sunscreen! Luckily, Mickey’s Mainsail, the main shop aboard each of Disney’s cruise ships, has just what you need.

Mickey’s Mainsail is open while the ship is at sea, and closed while in port. Amongst the DCL-branded apparel and souvenir selections, the shop has a small yet mighty area dedicated to sundries and medicines you or your family may need during the voyage. Granted, you’ll be paying a few extra dollars for your forgetfulness, but it’s nice to know these necessities are available onboard.

TIP: While the ship is in port or the shops are closed late at night, try stopping by the Guest Services desk for single-serving packs of common personal care items such as aspirin, toothpaste, motion sickness medicine, or tampons, which they often provide for free, especially during rough sea days.
