Today is a big day for Disney Cruise Line! The Disney Destiny is all set and ready to be presented to all of us fans who have so eagerly been awaiting our first REAL look inside the ship. The live christening event will be held this evening from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, FL, beginning at 6:30 pm Eastern. The event will be broadcast live on the Disney Cruise Line Instagram channel.
We are excited to see what the day holds as Disney Cruise Line hasn’t shared much about the ship other than a few sneak peeks here and there. Chloé even mentioned that we don’t know what the chandelier in the Grand Hall looks like. For those of you who have been following along for years as new ships are presented, you know that we usually have a bit more to go on than what we’ve got with the Disney Destiny. Not knowing makes it all more exciting, doesn’t it?
