Disney Cruise Line has announced that fireworks will be part of the entertainment lineup aboard the Disney Adventure, marking another ship where guests can experience fireworks at sea. The new show, “The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky,” will be exclusive to the Disney Adventure and will take place on select sailings.
The nighttime fireworks show will draw inspiration from The Lion King, using pyrotechnics, lighting effects, and music to tell the story in the sky above the ship. Guests can expect familiar songs from the film, including “Circle of Life,” “Hakuna Matata,” “He Lives in You,” and “Can You Feel the Love Tonight.” The music will feature new arrangements performed by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, along with vocals from the Ndlovu Youth Choir from South Africa.
Disney also confirmed that actor Shah Rukh Khan will narrate the experience. Khan previously voiced Mufasa in the Hindi-language versions of The Lion King (2019) and Mufasa (2024), and his narration is meant to add another storytelling layer to the show.
“The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky” will be offered on select nights during three- and four-night itineraries aboard the Disney Adventure. As with other Disney Cruise Line fireworks shows, availability and showtimes may vary.
