The Best Quick-Service Restaurants on the Disney Adventure

The new Disney Cruise Line ship, the Disney Adventure, has completely raised the bar when it comes to dining. Here are my favorite quick-service venues.

The new Disney Cruise Line ship, the Disney Adventure, has completely raised the bar when it comes to dining. Across more than 20 Disney cruises I’ve taken, this one stands out for delivering the best overall food experience. And as a lover of Asian cuisine, this sailing felt like a true indulgence.

Like the rest of the fleet, the Disney Adventure features three main dining restaurants, but in this case, each is split into two venues to accommodate the larger number of guests. In addition, the ship offers two premium dining experiences: Palo Trattoria and Mike and Sulley’s Flavors of Asia – the latter featuring four distinct culinary concepts.

When it comes to quick-service options, the Disney Adventure offers four themed food counters with unique menus, plus a pizza station – all included in the cruise fare – a specialty smoothie and beverage stand called Bewitching Boba and Brews (available at an additional cost), and the classic soft-serve ice cream machines.

In this article, I’ll walk you through the four included quick-service venues, ranked from least to most impressive. All of them – except Pizza Planet – feature their own dedicated seating areas and are fully themed, a noticeable upgrade from the more generic food court-style setups on other ships like Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods.

5. Pizza Planet

The pizza station on the Disney Adventure delivers exactly what you’d expect – reliable, convenient, and satisfying. Open for most of the day, it’s a solid go-to when hunger strikes between pool sessions. Options include the usual Disney classics like Margherita, Pepperoni, and Vegetarian. Is it the best quick-service option onboard? Not quite – but it certainly gets the job done.

4. Cosmic Kebabs

Inspired by Ms. Marvel, this venue offers a selection of Middle Eastern dishes such as kebabs, pitas, tabbouleh, and baba ghanoush.

We built our own plate with items like lamb shawarma, char-grilled spiced sausage, falafel, and various sides. While everything was flavorful, it didn’t feel quite as fresh as the other options on this list, which is why it ranks a bit lower.

3. Gramma Tala’s Kitchen

Inspired by the beloved character from Moana, this charming spot features dishes influenced by Pacific Island and Asian cuisines, with a particular emphasis on Chinese flavors.

The menu is quite varied, but standout options include the fried chicken and the Hainanese chicken with white rice – especially if you’re looking for something less heavily seasoned. A comforting and well-executed offering overall.

2. Stitch’s Ohana Grill

This is the ship’s take on “American” quick-service fare, featuring burgers, sandwiches, and hot dogs – but with a noticeable upgrade in quality and creativity.

We tried the signature Gochujang Burger, made with Angus beef, grilled portobello mushrooms, kimchi, crispy onions, and gochujang mayonnaise. It’s a great example of how the menu blends classic Western comfort food with bold Asian flavors – easily one of the best burgers I’ve had.

We enjoyed it so much that we went back to try another item: the all-beef hot dog with bratwurst, served on a pretzel hoagie with kimchi and wasabi mayonnaise. Equally impressive – elevated fast food with a distinctive, “exotic” twist.

1. Mowgli’s Eatery

Mowgli’s Eatery isn’t just the best quick-service option on the Disney Adventure – it’s arguably the best across the entire Disney Cruise Line fleet, rivaling even some of the specialty dining venues. Yes, it’s that good.

The restaurant focuses on Indian-inspired cuisine, with dishes like tandoori chicken, tandoori lamb hariyali, butter chicken, Kerala fish curry, and a variety of sides that allow you to build your own bowl.

The depth of flavor, the precision in cooking the proteins, the freshness of the breads, and the aromatic rice are all exceptional. It’s the kind of food you keep thinking about long after the trip ends – I’m writing this from Japan and still craving it.

Without a doubt, this is a must-visit onboard – not just for the food, but also for the beautifully designed space.
