With Saturday’s float-out of the upcoming Disney Adventure ship, Disney Cruise Line has launched the official ship’s log! On Saturday, April 19, 2025, Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie, along with a crowd of cheering spectators, welcomed the Disney Adventure as it floated out of Meyer Werft’s hall in Wismar, Germany. The milestone moment was marked with fireworks as a tugboat slowly guided the ship’s bow into the harbor, where it will remain for the next few months as construction continues on what will be the largest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet.

The next few weeks will be big for the Disney Adventure as the team begins major updates to the ship’s exterior. One of the most exciting milestones will be the installation of not just the classic two, but four Disney Cruise Line funnels on the upper decks.
If this is the first time you’re seeing this ship, you might be thinking that it looks a bit different from the rest of the fleet – and you’re right! Disney Cruise Line bought this ship in a partially built state and made it their own. The transformation looks incredible so far, and we’re excited to see more!

The Disney Adventure will sail three- and four-night itineraries, offering magical days at sea, meaning no port stops. The ship will begin setting sail from Singapore on December 15, 2025.
