In an exciting update to the ship’s log for the upcoming Disney Destiny, Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, we’ve learned some new details about De Vil’s! De Vil’s is the all-new piano lounge on the Destiny, paying homage to Cruella De Vil’s fashionista legacy.
Just past the Grand Hall, a marquee will feature the name “De Vil’s” in a design reminiscent of piano keys, creating the perfect atmosphere for an evening filled with live music and trendy cocktails. As guests walk into the lounge, they’ll be greeted by a floor mosaic displaying Cruella’s iconic catchphrase, “How Marvelous,” framed by 15 charming paw prints.
Every element inside the lounge will reflect Cruella’s unique style and daring attitude. The furniture will be uniquely shaped and luxurious, with rich textures and elegant fabrics that draw from her signature color palette of black, white, and pops of red. The carpet will feature a detailed design that looks like it was ink-splotched and hand-drawn, as a nod to Ken Anderson, the artist who created the iconic designs of the characters in Disney’s One Hundred and One Dalmatians.
Disney also shared a downloadable wallpaper with the spotted pattern from the piano to help guests embrace their villainous side as our anticipation grows for the debut of De Vil’s in November!
