You might be the type of person who wouldn’t so much as think about doing laundry during your Disney Cruise Line vacation, but if you have little ones in your traveling party – or even if you don’t – you already know that you need to be prepared for anything that might come your way, like tee shirts covered with Mickey Bar chocolate and the like.
While the Disney Wish only has one guest laundry facility on board, it is huge and quite luxurious looking if I do say so myself. It’s also conveniently located on Deck 8 Forward right near the elevators.
Obviously, everything is brand new and sparkling which is fantastic, but there is plenty of space to do anything you might need to do with regards to laundry such as ironing or even hand washing a delicate item. There is also Tide laundry soap and Snuggle fabric softener available for purchase.
On longer cruises, we bring a big laundry bag that we hang either in the closet or in the toilet/sink bathroom to keep everything neat and tidy in our stateroom. In my opinion, there is nothing worse than bringing home a suitcase full of dirty clothes that are not contained in their own bag.

Tip: Throw a couple of laundry pods into your suitcase in case you do decide to throw in a load. Also, it’s not a bad idea to carry a Tide stick for spot treatment on-the-go should any incidents happen in the dining rooms. Ahem.
