Disney Cruise Line has shared an update straight from Papenburg, Germany, at the Meyer Werft shipyard! The higher decks of the Disney Treasure are rapidly evolving into family vacation destinations, and construction is well underway on decks 11 and 12!
The most recent photo shows the foundations of one of the six pools set into a raised platform. Overhead, the front funnel is ready for the installation of Funnel Vision, a large LED screen that will play many beloved Disney movies for guests to relax and enjoy. The Funnel Vision stage is shaping up to host performances and onboard activities.

Sharp-eyed fans might notice that the tubing for the ship’s 760-foot long AquaMouse attraction is nearly finished. Disney Cruise Line’s family water attraction at sea will soon glide above the Disney Treasure and premiere a new show, Curse of the Golden Egg.
Keep following along for more construction updates on the Disney Treasure as the team works to get it into “ship shape” ahead of its maiden voyage later this year!
