The last bit of today’s Disney Destiny news gives us a glimpse at the ship’s staterooms, along with some small-but-mighty details on the two Grand Hall walk-up cafés.
A Disney Cruise stateroom are our home-away-from-home on the high seas – a luxurious retreat to rest, reconnect and dream of far-off places – or the very ship you’re on!

Like every Disney Cruise Line ship, the Disney Destiny will offer spacious, comfortable and functional staterooms that meet family needs. Most staterooms will feature Disney Cruise Line’s signature split-bath concept, and many will offer the option of a connecting door between staterooms, making it easy to travel with extended family and friends. The released image features artwork from “Hercules”.

Concierge guests aboard the Disney Destiny will receive a premium level of dedicated service and access to exclusive areas and amenities, including a concierge lounge and private sun deck. Among the concierge staterooms and suites will be four royal suites inspired by “Hercules” and “The Incredibles”.

Another tidbit has been revealed, but we don’t have any photos just yet! Just off the Grand Hall — the central hub and gathering space on the Disney Destiny (which has also yet to be unveiled!) — two casual walk-up cafes will serve a selection of coffee, tea, specialty beverages and snacks. One will be Café Megara, paying homage to Disney Animation’s “Hercules” with a unique and vibrant “Greco disco” design, with the other being Café Merida, inspired by the heroine of Pixar’s “Brave” with Celtic-centered design elements.
Stay tuned for more Disney Destiny announcements over the next few days!
