No More Face Mask Requirement for Disney Cruise Line Crew Members

Wearing a face mask indoors on a Disney Cruise Line ship has been optional for guests since March 2022, but they have remained a mandatory requirement for crew members; until now, that is.

Starting with cruises this week, crew members have the option of either continuing to wear a face mask or they can opt out altogether.

This change falls in line with DCL getting back to the way things were prior to the COVID-19 pandemic as beginning September 23, 2022, for sailings aboard the Disney DreamDisney FantasyDisney Wish, and Disney Wonder, and beginning November 7, 2022, for sailings aboard the Disney Magic, fully vaccinated guests are no longer required to participate in COVID-19 testing in order to sail.
