Guests cruising on the 3-night Disney Dream sailing out of Port Canaveral on January 21st received an update from Disney Cruise Line with a change in their itinerary.

The stop at Nassau has been changed to an at-sea day and passengers will receive a $200 onboard credit per stateroom for the inconvenience. Also, rather than stopping at Castaway Cay on the last full day of the cruise, that stop has moved to Day 2.

There has been some question over on the DISboards as to whether or not this change has to do with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention moving The Bahamas to Level 4: Very High Level of COVID-19 in the Bahamas or if it’s simply due to the January 22nd Disney Fantasy sailing moving to a Western itinerary.

We’re not sure what the reasoning is behind the itinerary change, but stay tuned as we’ll keep you posted on any new changes.
